Ike davis ny mets Alas, by the time I saw the ad, the signing had passed. The May 21 issue of Sports Collectors Digest included an ad for a private signing with Mets phenom and MOT Ike Davis being handled by Bob Mikita of Mikita Sports.

Items for the signing, however, needed to have been submitted by May 5. While this opportunity has passed, it's worth taking note of the signing, if only for the future opportunities.

Mikita was offering balls for $48, photos for $45, 16X20 photos for $65, engraved bats for $95, batting helmets for $125, and jerseys for $225. Collectors could also submit their own items, too. Balls and flats were $38; bats, jerseys and 16X20s $50. Inscriptions cost $15.

Braun_Press_Release_02 Davis is the second Jewish Major Leaguer in the Mikita stable. Brewers star Ryan Braun is also an exclusive Mikita signer. According to MikitaSports.com, Braun conducted a signing on May 18 (I didn't see it publicized in SCD, as it usually has been). Details on pricing can be found here. Lots of Braun items are also available for sale through the site.
